Stephen Billy Olajide is a professor of English Language Education and Applied Linguistics, Arts Education. His special interests include English Language teaching, Curriculum planning and development, literacy issues, and stylistics. He graduated from the Universities of Ibadan and Ilorin, Nigeria. A member of several professional associations, Professor Olajide has been Acting Head of Department, Sub-Dean of Faculty, Managing editor and editorial adviser to reputable journals within and outside of the University of Ilorin. He is a member of University of Ilorin Bulletin. Professor Olajide was a visiting scholar to the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria, University of Kwazulu Natal, Durban, South Africa, and the University of Grenoble, Lyons, France. He has published extensively in local and international outlets. Professor Olajide is married with children.
