Abubakar SAIDU, (Ph.D.), is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Arts Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He obtained his first degree in History Education while his Master’s and PhD degrees were in History and Policy of Education from the Department of Arts Education, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is currently the Head of Department of Arts Education. Also, he is serving as the Assistant Secretary of Historian of Education Development Society of Nigeria an affiliation of International Standing Conference for the History of Education. He attended numerous conferences and workshops including Collaboration of Education Faculties in West Africa (CEFWA) International Conference held at the University of Cape Coast from 9^th – 13^th September, 2013, 3^rd Joint International Conference of University of Ilorin and University of Cape Coast held at University of Cape Coast, Ghana between 11^th and 16^th August, 2013. He has published articles in local, national and international reputable outlets.
