Dr. Surajudeen Adewale Badru is a Senior Lecturer of Mother Tongue Education in the Department of Arts Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He has held various administrative positions and served in different committees across the Department and Faculty. He was a member, Departmental E-Library Committee and Undergraduate Project Coordinator from 2017 till date. He also served as a member, Faculty of Education Retreat Committee and currently a member, Faculty of Education Committee on 30% NUC-CCMAS. He has also served as an Academic Adviser for English Education and Yoruba Education students from 2014 to 2022 respectively. He was the Academic Adviser for 100 Level English Education Students, a Staff Adviser for Department of Arts Education Students, and Assistant Examination Officer of the Department. He is currently the Examination Officer of the Department and Sandwich Undergraduate Programme Coordinator. His research interest include Curriculum Development in Mother Tongue Education, Mother Tongue Curriculum Assessment, Mother Tongue Education Policy, Yoruba Oral Literature.
