Dr. Victoria Oludunni Ogunniran (ogunniran.vo@unilorin.edu.ng) is a Lecturer 1 in the Department of Arts Education, Faculty of Education at the University of Ilorin Ilorin, Nigeria. She holds a Ph.D. in Mother-Tongue Education from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. She is an advocate of Mother-Tongue (Yoruba). Therefore, her research interests include Mother-Tongue Policy in Education, Implications of Traditional Games in Primary Schools, Curriculum Development in Mother-Tongue, Linguistics and Mother-Education, Literacy and Mother-Tongue, and Mother-Tongue Teaching Methodology. She has published many articles in reputable journal outlets locally, nationally and globally. Also, she has contributed many chapters in edited books. She is a member of the National Association of Language Educators in Nigeria.
